Adult Degree Programs
The CMU Adult Degree Program (ADP) draws from a rich history of experience in higher education. ADP’s educational model is designed to enable adult students to learn and retain knowledge as efficiently as possible. The courses are convenient and accelerated to accommodate the needs of working adults.

Accelerated Format
At CMU, courses are offered in a format designed specifically for working adults. In order to accommodate students' busy schedules, classes are offered at several convenient locations. Plus, students can take one, 4-hour evening class per week and complete a three credit course in 5-7 weeks. CMU’s one-time registration process is completed at the beginning of the student’s program.
Financial Aid
Most ADP students are considered full time, which makes them eligible for full-time federal financial aid.
CMU participates in the Federal Stafford Loan Program, the Federal PLUS Loan and the Federal Pell Grant. Additionally, many employers offer tuition assistance. Each student has a personal financial aid counselor throughout the length of their programs to answer their financial aid questions.
